Rated 4 out of 5 by from Poor engine operation and worse warantee work. This was covered once, will do it again. The vacuum was purchased from Western Auto,a Cub Cadet Dealer. It started with the first/second pull - but when shut down for emptying the bag, it would not restart for 15/20 minutes. Then it started right up. Talked to you tech group and received a case number, 03459637. Had to take it roughly 30 miles to a servicing dealer. He kept It for 2 weeks, and then called - finding - nothing wrong, and charged $35,00, brought it back home and started to use it, same problem, would not restart when hot. Called the dealer and brought it back. They replaced the coil and said that it was now fine. Another long trip, started to use the vacuum and guess what - will not restart when how. Now I have to explain to my wife that I have an expensive piece of junk. I am a retired engineer, and from my perspective, if is not ignition, then good chances it has to do with valve timing. Now comes the rub. The servicing dealer does not appear to want to discuss this. SO I was going to check it my self. guess what, can't find tech. info on the 159cc Powermore engine. I wauld be nice if I were given this information and a new valve cover gasket. OR better still something that works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Engine wouldn't start, then starter rope broke Just bought the CSV 070 Self-propelled yard vacuum/chipper/shredder after reading several glowing reviews on several sites online. When it arrived, it assembled fairly easily but after following all instructions to the letter, try as I might, the engine wouldn't start. After checking everything over several times (Yes it had gas) and trying for several hours, the starter rope broke. Now I have to find a dealer who can service it and get it fixed. Bummer!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product, time and energy saver !!! I had been looking at this product for over five years and finally made my decision this year - because of MY age and mileage I have a very difficult time using a hand held blower-vac and raking by hand anymore is not an option. As par for the course it seemed as though everyone else made the same decision at the same time and I had to wait almost three weeks for my unit. The day I picked it up was the first time it had rained in over a month and I was nervous about using it the next day because ALL of my leaves were on the ground and they were half way up my calf. I started off in low speed and was very happy and surprised that the unit vacuumed up everything - I was also very surprised at how much the bagger held. In all, I used this machine three times at four properties this year and wish that I had purchased it five years ago. The unit is very easy to use and maintain, the vac never bogged down or chocked, the side chipper worked well and is a nice accessory. The unit worked equally well in wet and dusty conditions. I emptied the bag into drum trash cans which was a little challenging, but I got the hang of it, the bag would empty very easily and quickly into the woods or open area. The self-propel feature also works very well and is easy to control. I did not use the hose vacuum this year but will try it out next season. All in all an excellent machine and I feel at this point that the price was well worth the time and energy it saved me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Well I was hopeful.... Picked up the machine from Home depot. Had high hopes. The machine starts up with first pull, but it does take a lot of effort to pull the starter. Vacuum function and chipper work well. The hose is pointless, it's difficult to manage and the hose clamps keep coming apart. Needs a redesign on that feature. Used the hose once and put it away. Doubt it will come out again. The power function is great, machine does a great job of picking up the leaves and acorns. The chipper is a bonus. Handles 1" branches with no problem. My biggest issue is the bag attachment to the handle. The molded plastic clip broke after 3 uses.. So the machine is OOS until I can get this replaced or repaired. This too needs a redesign. The molded plastic is just not up to the job. Would I recommend this to a friend? No, just pay a teenager $50 to pick up the leaves each fall and save yourself $600

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Happy Here's my experience with the CSV 070. Picked up the unit and brought it home. Left front wheel rubbed against the frame of the unit and I wasn't able to lower the deck. Right side wheel was titled inward. The motor starts first pull every time the problem is that it turns over hard, The start rope on the recoil broke. The molded plastic handle broke off the leaf bag. The vacuum hose has plastic pieces attached to each end by hose clamps. The plastic pieces fall off when in use no matter how tight the clamps are. The bolts that hold the bracket for the vacuum loosened up and the bracket fell off. When the unit is powered down and pushed by hand it makes a loud squeaking noise, which it didn't do when I picked it up. Sounds like I must have used it quite a bit. This was my first day experience. It's been returned to the dealer and hopefully my money will be refunded as I do have other Cub Cadet products which work fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I would have brought one years ago This is a time saver and no blisters from raking. Starts first pull cleans better than my Dyson on carpet. Love the fact it picks up the helicopters From my maple trees. Big bag easy to empty top quality like you would expect from cub cadet
