Rated 2 out of 5 by from Will Not Buy Again Bought the mower a little more than 3 years ago and have not enjoyed it since. The casters are not as smooth as expected and they are kept in the lock position. The self propelled never pushed very hard and now it does not work at all, with the cause unknown. The bagger fills to about half and nothing more, additionally it is difficult to mount and grass gets into the abundant crevasses. It will start on the first pull every time and that’s the only good point. Used to use it only occasionally because I had a riding mower and didn’t mind it’s flaws but I have since moved and use it every week which proves to me how bad it is. Also does not cut very well I suppose because of its power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review after 2 years of use. The model I bought was the Cub Cadet SC 500 EZ. It has been 3 years, and I am happy with it. No problems. I really like the castor wheels which makes turning much easier. I have my local cub cadet dealer do a full servicing of it every year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Time Cub Cadet Purchase The zero turn front wheels and speed help cut my lawn quickly. I’m completely satisfied with the performance of my lawnmower.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poorly made sorry i wasted the money.front castors don't swivel, guard under deck is hit by blade.and the washout thing is a joke. I did lawn maintenance for 25 yrs (now retired) know abit about mowers and wish I had looked this thing over better

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheaply made I've had the lawnmower for only 3.5 years, and it's now unusable. I could deal with having having to replace the cheaply made wing nuts from day one. Although there is an easy way to adjust the rear height of the lawnmower, changing the height of the front wheels required that I put the front of the lawnmower on a block to raise it off the ground. The lawnmower shimmy's at the start because of the caster wheels but that was something I got used to. The blades never cut evenly, even after the first year. There was always some tall grass left in multiple rows when you examined your finished work. What I always found to be a problem was the way the rear wheel height adjustment lever on the left side and the side discharge chute cover on the right side would always get caught on a tree, post or fence when you tried to cut close to any of those objects. Just last week, the cover finally got caught on a fence and tore off from the bolt holding it in place. I tried to hold it closed in place with a clamp, but it eventually fell off during mowing. What finally made it inoperable was when I gave the yellow drive control handle a sturdy push to get up a wet hill, it broke right off on both sides. I expected a lot more from a lawnmower at this price point and cannot recommend this product to anyone.
