Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best mower I have EVER used. I bought this mower 2 months ago and I love it. I mow 6 acres and the very first time I used it I cut 2 hours out of my mowing time. The maneuverability is outstanding, thats what cuts down the time. It takes a couple hours to figure out where the turning point is but then it's off to the races. The fabricated deck is great, no clogging like my old cub with stamped deck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good mower I am satisfied with this mower. It is my second one over the years of mowing and the KW motor is much better in thick grass. The steering can be tight when not moving for an older person but a good mower overall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wife Likes it I now have 38.9 hours on my Cub Cadet Z-Force SX 60 KW. I don’t find reviews from people who have just bought or have only used their machines one time helpful, while they are a “first impression” they really haven’t used their machines enough to know what they really feel about them. With 38 hours use I now know what I like and don’t like about my machine Overall I’m pleased with the Z-Force SX 60KW. I have four acres to mow and I’ve been using it during the June, July and August summer. I live in the NW Florida area and the day time temps are in the high 90’s and heat index has been running in the 122/105 area for the last few weeks. Yes that’s hot and that is what brings my first negative about this machine. l cannot cut grass in the cooler earlier mornings or late evenings. Why, because it has no lights and Cub Cadet doesn’t even offer them as an option or add on for this model. While Cub Cadet does have other models with built in lights or lights that will mount to a ROPES system but has nothing for this model. I don’t understand the lack of foresight for this. I added my own “cube” LED lights to the steering post and while looking for a place to mount the on/off switch I found on the underside of the control panel a cutout for a rectangular switch already molded into the panel. That’s where I put my marine grade on/off switch and found it was a perfect fit. So, Cub Cadet why no light option? My second negative, no canopy or once again, not even an add on. If I can’t have lights then why not a canopy to keep the sun off you so you don’t bake. Third negative. There is no 12 volt accessory outlet. Or what use to be called the cigarette lighter. Again there is a premolded cutout in the control panel for one but nothing available from Cub Cadet. OK, enough negatives. It is a heavy duty machine and will cut 4’ high grass at full speed with no problems. That’s a big plus for me since my grass will grow that much in five days when we have rain. The seat is very comfortable and does absorb the bumps and dips making it easier on my back when traveling at speed. It is a true zero turn but you do have to do a lot of steering wheel turning to get there. That’s not a problem if you don’t have a lot of trees or poles to go around. If you do than I would suggest getting the steering bar version and not the steering wheel model. The steering wheel is easy to turn lock to lock and does not take a lot of effort, I can turn it with one hand. But if you have a lot of things to cut around your hands and arms will get tired turning that wheel. The most important positive about this machine. My WIFE LIKES it. She likes the steering wheel and the seat but like me wants a canopy. Before I retired I was the senior product designer for my company and she keeps after me to design and built a canopy for her. Now I have another “honey do” added onto my list. Pros: Easy to steer and wife like the steering wheel Heavy duty and cuts high grass at fast traveling speed Very comfortable seat Can cut four acres without stopping to refuel Cons:No lights or optional ones available No 12v accessory outlet No canopy offered

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mower for banks I bought this mower late last year and love it. I have some banks at my place and the scan I had before I fought it all the time trying to mow the bank with it. This mower doesn’t hesitate any. It just goes with no issues at all. Love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mower! Have owned for 2 years. Very heavy duty and well built. Very easy to operate, and handles well on hills and slopes. Mower deck is pretty much self cleaning. Engine is strong, and trouble free. Mowing 3 acres goes very fast. Wife likes to use it too. No trouble at all with this mower. Wish I had this 20 years ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from get her done Into my second year mowing 1/2 acre with steep hillside on a river side with trees. Only had to pull it out of a situation that was due to my carelessness. I always feel safe and it drives like it is anchored to the ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I bought this mower last year for my commercial and residential mowing. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It sticks to hillsides and flies across fields that I mow. This was my first Cub Cadet mower but it won't be my last.
