Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Overall Features BUT lacks necessary power! My Cub Cadet 'Challenger 500' is smart-looking vehicle but only rates an overall of 'GOOD' because it lacks the engine power necessary to be an 'Excellent' work UTV. Love the standard accessories that come with it and wished I had purchased the bigger size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Challenger 500 Camo Bought in December of 2016 and added a 60" plow shortly after, and it has plowed in some heavy deep snow with no issues. Starts and runs great in any weather type so for the money can't be beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value Love the Challenger. It came with more standard equipment than any of the competition for a better price. Runs great. Looked at several other brands. The final price on their machines was more than $2k more than the original sticker once I added on the options that came standard on this Cub. That trick alone brings me back to my local cub dealer who also does the service. Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The product is a great value The 500 is a bit underpowered but at 1/2 the cost of most of the competition, it is a great buy. I am very happy with my purchase and truly enjoy my challenger 500. The accessory package is above par. The styling of the machine and ease of use and low cost make it great for first time owners. I would recommend this machine, and have recommended it to others.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This is not a Cub Cadet engineered machine Buyer beware, This is not a Cub Cadet engineered machine. This is a Massimo rebadged as Cub Cadet. The dealer did not tell me this. Although it does come with a lot of standard features, they just cover up the fact this is cheap for a reason. Don't get me wrong it is good value if you want a new UTV. Just don't expect it to be on par with Polaris or Kawasaki or Kubota. It is very underpowered. Fit and finish are poor. Low range is not low enough and there is not a low range reverse gear. The winch works good. Parking brake lever does not fit the hole in the console but it works good. Tires have awesome traction but sadly too much really for the anemic engine. Tires are really too aggressive to use on your lawn. Starts right up every time. Turns relatively easy but the turning radius is not the best. This thing is just so hit and miss. I wish I would have tried the 700 but then again I expected 500 power from the 500 and it feels like 350. Maybe they should rebadge the 700 as a 500 so customers won't feel disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It is a great side-by-side for a great price. My Challanger is fun to drive and hauls plenty of stuff. It is handy to use around the farm. I like that it is road ready with lights, turn signals, horn, seat belts and webbing on the doors. Safe for grandkids to ride in. The wench works great. I would recommend the 700 for a little more power. Accessories need to be developed quickly, such as radio, blade, dipstick to check oil easily.
