Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use I bought this model for the front wheel drive, the high wheels and the price. The bonus was the intellipower. I was concerned about the 159cc vs the 190cc on my old mower, but this is definitely not a problem. This motor has plenty of power to mulch or bag my 1/3 acer lot. I was also concerned about the floating handle. My Wife and I quickly learned how to use the floating handle. This mower is easy to use! My Wife enjoys cutting the grass, so why would I stop her. All we have ever owned is a front wheel drive mower. My wife borrowed the neighbors rear wheel drive mower when our old one broke. I’m just glad no one got hurt. This Cub Cadet front wheel drive has plenty of power for my yard. I have 1 slope about 150’ long with a 4’ drop over a 15’ span. The mower walked straight on the side hill and the deck does not flex on hills or while turning. This is my first Cub Cadet. The price is why I purchased this mower. The other brands where almost double in price for the same features. Don’t tell Cub Cadet that though. I don’t personally use the deck washer, but I do like the quick disconnect feature. The deck adjustment is simple. One lever for the front and one for the back wheels. The blade cuts my lawn perfectly flat and even. Best cut on the block. What about the Intellipower! So this is what it does. On regular “cut” you can mow the grass just fine and use less fuel while cutting at a slower pace. This feature works great. Click the switch to “power cut” and it dumps more gas and the engine picks up RPM and that is great for a walking at a faster pace while cutting the lawn perfectly flat. Also the faster RPMs helps while bagging to insure the bag gets completely full and that means less stopping to empty the bag. I bought my mower at Danner’s Landscaping, Inver Grove Heights , MN. They had almost all the push mower models on the show room floor to look at. I was pretty sure what I was looking after watching my wife...Like I said earlier, I am glad no one got hurt! They also honored the 10% off Labor Day special from Cubcadet.com , filled the mower with 91 Non Oxy gas, gave me a quick operator lesson and loaded it in my truck. I can’t forget to mention they fully registered me with Cub Cadet, now that’s service! In conclusion, the floating handle and the power drive are easy to use. The Intellipower works great for me and my wife’s different walking pace. There is plenty of engine power to mulch or bag. We are happy to be part of the Cub Cadet Family!
