Zero Turn Mowers Affected: Only the models (numbers) shown above, and certain serial numbers, 1C016HXXXXX through 1G310HXXXXX (manufactured between March 01, 2016 and July 31, 2020), are included in the recall. The second through fifth characters of the serial number identify the manufacturing date. The second character is the month with A= January, B= February, etc. The third and fourth characters are the day of the month. The fifth character is the last digit of the year of manufacture (e.g. C016 = March 01, 2016). Affected Zero Turn Mowers were sold between March 1, 2016 and August 28, 2020.
Hazard: Battery cables and wire harness leads could be pinched by the seat pan which could result in an electrical short to ground, smoke or possible fire.
What Consumers Should Do: Stop using the Zero Turn Mower and call your dealer to schedule repairs, at no cost.
