Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average, at best. I bought this mower to replace a 14 year oldhigh-end mower that I gave to someone else. I kinda wish I had just kept it. First, this mower of course has a well-known great engine, but it misses. I can be walking across my flat yard and it will just miss/bump once or twice, does it the entire 40 minute I mow, and it has done this since day 1. Second, this thing clogs so easily it's ridiculous. It doesn't really cut that well, and there is absolutely NO suction under the deck. A well designed deck should provide suction to lift grass/weeds/dandelions up into the blade so they can be cut. This thing doesn't do that, it's just a cheezy plain old deck with no engineering. My old mower was many times better in that respect, and it also mowed and trimmed much closer to fencelines, trees, etc. The old one mowed nicer in every way, period. I don't love this mower, not at all. I woulda bought something else, but the brand I wanted was sold out. So I (kinda regrettably) ended up with this thing. Also, the deck wash fitting/feature is JOKE. I never seen something so worthless in my life....it is absolutely shameful and doesn't work at all to clean the deck. Use it sometime, and then look under your deck. You'll be as disgusted as I was to see that it is useless. And the plastic chute you snap on to allow the mower to side-discharge is equally cheap and worthless. It falls off if you simply hit a bump too hard. If you demand good engineering, don't buy this mower. If you don't care, go ahead and get it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent choice Very pleased with the SC 100 H walk behind mower. Starts every time with one pull & meets all my needs. My primary reason for purchasing it was to get the tight spots & areas on my property that are too small or difficult to mow with my lawn tractor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I've had this for about two weeks. It is an excellent mower for my needs. I am careful to use non-ethanol gasoline with a fuel additive, and the Honda engine on that great CubCadet deck runs like a sewing machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value in this price range I just bought this mower to replace a 28 year old Lawn-boy I did not want to put a 3rd set of wheels on. This mower is mainly for doing trim around trees, obstacles and mowing in the ditch before using a Cub XT2 riding mower. That said I did use it to mow an entire 1 acre lawn with no trouble at all. The folding handles and handle integrated into the front of the deck make loading and transporting the mower easy. I have an SC500HW mower also, but the Honda engine has 2 advantages over the Cub Cadet engine for trimming around bushes. The gas cap on the Honda is flatter and is less likely to snag branches. The Cub Cadet engine also has a plastic cover that accumulates clippings underneath it and sometimes vibrates while the Honda just has the open top. Both start on the first pull and both chew through long grass nicely. For 269$ it was a Honda engine Cub Cadet or the various nameless disposable mowers in a box at a box store. I'm confident this was the best mower for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lawnmower Have had this one for a little over a year. No issues. Suggest anyone that has these look into the undercoating recommendation by CubCadet, spraying to help protect underneath. I had some surface rust. Also 1-2 starts each time. When it began taking 2 pulls cleaned the air filter and back to one pull. Wish they had a model with an aluminum carriage. (then replaced blade)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BADGER LIKES IT!!!!! Have switched all possible outdoor tools to CC and couldn't be happier. The SC 100 H pushes with little effort and gives a clean cut. Switching features and height is a breeze. Great buy.
