Valley City, Ohio — Sept. 28, 2020 — Cub Cadet®, a leading outdoor power equipment designer and manufacturer, has just produced its 1 millionth XT Enduro Series lawn tractor.

“This is a tremendous milestone for Cub Cadet,” said Trevor Oriold, vice president of product marketing. “We sought to bring an unrivaled lawn tractor experience to the market in an affordable way. With smooth, effortless turning, spring-assisted fingertip deck lift, an intuitive rocker pedal drive, and a spring suspension seat, cutting your lawn and leaving those beautiful stripes is an experience that only owning one can provide.”

Launched in 2015, the XT Enduro Series includes some of the most innovative features in the Cub Cadet Line — including its Electronic Fuel Injection and IntelliPower™ engine technologies that provide exceptionally reliable, powerful and consistent performance.

Today two out of every three consumers have given the XT Enduro Series a five-star rating. The Enduro Series line has maintained market share each year since launching.

The product line is made in Martin, Tenn., and sold through a nationwide network of locally owned dealers, The Home Depot, Tractor Supply Co. and around the world. It has appeared on The Price is Right, Saturday Night Live and The Late Late Show with James Corden.

“The Enduro Series is an overhaul of your typical lawn tractor based directly on feedback we received from riding mower owners,” said Jack Drobny, Senior Product Marketing Manager. “Through those conversations, it quickly became clear that the line needed to get tougher.”

The team borrowed design inspiration from the automotive industry — like the updated steering wheel position and the high-back seats for added comfort. And areas that require routine maintenance — like the oil, fuel and air filters — were designed to be easily accessible.

The line has only improved with age. In 2019, Cub Cadet added an electric unit to the line, combining the best features of gas with the power of battery. A model featuring IntelliPower was added earlier this year. And more innovations are on the horizon as Cub Cadet celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2021.
