I bought mine 2 years ago. after year 1 I had to replace the belt and adjustment lever. year 2 I snapped the adjustment lever again and it destroyed everything. had a weld engineer I with with rig something up up that will last longer that whatever Cub cadet designed. will never buy cadet again.
I used my edger 10 times a year. tops. piece of excrement.

Terrible handle design
Starts easy, but bad handle design. Handle too straight up and down. When you drop the blade the handle is too vertical. Which is fine if you are edging against concrete. If you have to run on lawn and you hit any type of depression the edger does a nose dive and you are stuck. Hale needs to be at a flatter angle so you can have more leverage when you encounter this type of terrain. About ready to get rid if it.

Mine works fine. I really don't know what people are talking about below and giving it 1 star.... I think most People use it in the wrong manner.....And think its a D9 catipillar.. No Problems here.

Starts Easy, Very Dependable
I have have my LE100 going on 3 years now and it still runs like it is new. I have a commercail lawn service and it is used a lot more than for residential use. It starts very easy (2 pulls max even after winter storage).
