Put a smile on my face!
First time I mowed with the unit it put a smile on my face. I had stayed away from zero turn mowers because we live on a hill. After doing some homework I thought I'd give this a try. Bought it that day. It's very stable, very powerful and very well built. I've owned tractor belly and pull behind and never felt this safe on our hill (approximately 20-25 degree slope). From the way it sounds to the ease of maintenance, level of performance and quality of cut, I couldn't be happier. My only criticism is the fuel consumption. A smarter fuel injection engine should be considered. While I'm not easily impressed, this mower has managed to do just that.

Beyond Expectations
Got this mower for ease of use and power and it excels in both. I have 5 acres in south Texas with Johnson grass and rough/hilly terrain. When the grass grows it is hell on a mower. I can’t go full speed but this machine takes slopes and ditches where you steer and the cut is superb. The adjustable seat is super awesome and made me look one up for my tractor. The only reserve I have is I wish EFI for the Kawasaki was offered, the fuel tanks tied together instead of having separate shutoff valves and a cover that comes with purchase...but other than that this thing gets it!

"Game Changer" in Commercial mowing
Recent had the chance to take Cub Cadet up on their FREE DEMO offer for the PRO Z 760S. Increased our mowing production by 21%. Noticeable time savings where on properties with hillsides/sloped land and around ponds and any body of water. Turf tear was almost completely eliminated due to the syncro-steering feature. The air ride seat was a dream and greatly eliminated fatigue. The stripping was very pronounced and gave that professional look. All in all, my experience was very positive and an eye-opener. I own a fleet of lapbar zerotuns that I will be phasing out for the PRO Z 760S and PRO Z 960S models. In my operation it's all about production time and quality of cut for my clients. CUB CADET has hit a homerun and I am so glad that I took advantage of their FREE DEMO. Thanks Cub Cadet !!!

It's good, But...
I bought the Pro Z 760 S a couple months back and was able to finally get to mow with it in the last few weeks. After this short period of use, I have come to some conclusions about the mower.
I have been using a steering wheel type zero turn mower for the last 12 years and the Cub was a natural replacement. Built like a tank, well made, cuts great and comfortable. I could give it glowing reviews about almost all aspects of it's operation...except for one.
The foot pedal arrangement is not very user friendly or comfortable.
The arc/pedal travel is to long (way to much travel to vary your speed), the angle is not right ( the "hinge" point of the pedal doesn't match the "hinge" point angle of your ankle , which is awkward in itself, and your foot wants to slid up and down the pedal face, fighting the grip holes). The spring tension is to high, especially the more you press it( this starts to tire your foot/leg quickly). Its uncomfortable after a while and for me it starts to bother my leg and ankle. I could only imagine spending all day, every day on one . Due to the wide speed range, and especially for "zero" type turns( you really need to slow her down), a lot of pedal movement is required, which only exacerbates the whole problem.
Now this may sound like I don't like the Cub, but I really do. I like everything else about it, but this pedal thing will probably be its Achilles heel for me (no pun intended).
If Cub Cadet could get this problem ironed out, this mower could beat all competition IMO, but for me, I might have to wait until then.

Death Trap
This is my third Commercial series mower. I bought this unit to replace my SZ-60. Worst mistake I ever made! It will not hold hills, rolls forward or backwards and will not consistently stop forward motion when you let off the forward pedal. It needs a foot brake! I cannot use the unit safely on hills or around obstacles' or near any structures. I have to have two mowers now. One for close-up work and this unit for bulk cutting. I have actually added to my mowing time with this unit. Despite the claim that the unit is stable on hills and highly maneuverable, believe me it is not. That was the selling point of the earlier Steering wheel models. The unit is great on flat open land but not on property with mostly hills and a large number of trees and other obstacles.
