Rated 2 out of 5 by from One year and trouble Bought this mower last year. Love the way it cuts so I give it 2 stars. Unfortunately the 2 rear wheels locked up and will not turn forward or backward. Scooted it in to the garage and parked it. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Riding Mower Have used the mower for about 2 months, everything works fine. If I have any criticisms it would be the the seat is hot and the port for changing the oil looks very inconvenient.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poorly configured pedals This mower is EXTREMELY difficult to use if you're very short. I bought this mower in 2017 and read a bunch of reviews before I bought it, but none of them mentioned this. But I read an independent review recently that made a point of saying the user might have trouble reaching the pedals if he/she were on the shorter side. I'm 4' 10" and had a lot of trouble using it when it first arrived because the gray safety button under the seat would engage - and cut off the engine - every time I leaned forward to hit the gas or engage the blades. Finally my neighbor across the road, who's an engineer, came over and showed me what the problem was. He gerry rigged a plastic bottle cap under the seat to close the gap a little between the seat and the button, and I also taped a block of Styrofoam to the gas pedal so I could reach it better! This mower came with two different manuals, with a third completely different one online, and NOT ONE of them specifically mentioned the safety button under the seat. I recently had a lot of trouble with stalling and it was because that bottle cap had slipped off!. Now I have to gerry rig something again. I just had it tuned up - it was overdue - and the guy said these mowers are overpriced (as a lot of mowers are). This mower is only available online so you can't go to a store and compare how it's configured with the other mowers. Overall it works pretty well but owning it has been a very frustrating experience!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Light Weight I have had the mower for about two months (six cuttings). I am disappointed in its inability to operate without spinning one of its back wheels when cutting diagonally across a gentle slope in my yard. The tires have very little tread depth and almost work as if slick. This mower would be great if you had a completely level lot. Also, when using the cleaning port at the end of a cut, water pools in the "valley" of the deck top. There should be a small drain hole or two to prevent this pooling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needs an anti scalp feature! Love this mower, just the right size, but it needs anti scalp wheels or skids or something.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made rider I've had this rider about a month ago. I think it's well made with Cub Cadet quality. It runs well and allows me to mow forward and in reverse. It covers a lot of ground. My only two suggestions are 1) it needs some anti-scalp wheels on the mowing deck so it doesn't cut too short on rolling lawns, and 2) the front wheels mash down the grass so the mower doesn't mow it as close. These two items cause less than perfect mowing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from In general a nice mower A nice mower whose main advantage is that it will go through a 3 foot gate & is suited for small yards. Does not have a lot of transmission power & can struggle in reverse when backing up a slight incline. Turning radius is always important but when making very sharp turns the steering/tires can bind. Gas tank could be larger. Frame seems to flex quite a bit when going over rough ground. One main improvement over Cub Cadet mowers of the past is that mulch plug & deck chute install with wing knobs(wing nuts) which is a big improvement over the rubber elastic strap of previous mowers. Seat is comfortable. You can find a less expensive 30" mower but they usually don't have hydrostatic transmission is a big advantage.
