Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor reverse mechanism design Strong Briggs engine and tills great. However, within 15 minute of use, the reverse system failed and caused the belt to come off it's pulley. I found the pulley bracket to be loose. After tightening, it worked for a few times then chewed up the belt. Now I have no reverse. I'm very disappointed with this design but overall, I don't regret the purchase as the machine does make tilling fairly quick and easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of Power The RT-75 cut my garden work in half. I should have bought one sooner. My old front tine tiller is in the scrap iron pile!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from RT75 I truly enjoyed working with this machine has all the power anyone would expect and then some. Watch out for big rocks it will bend the tines without bogging" it's and animal". Did replace two tines and that was my fault. However it did need a counter weight up front. My fix was two 5qt oil jugs filled with sand. I used two U-bolts and mounted them on the front rail Walla problem fixed all I had to do was walk beside the tiller only using one hand and letting the tiller do all the work at it's lowest setting too.. No problem busting up Georgia Red Clay that had not seen activity for at lest 7 years. The selling point was all controls are on the handle and has a true neutral.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from inadequate traction I purchased the new Cub Cadet RT75 Tiller in April 2014. When I started tilling my garden this spring I was very disappointed to find that the wheels began to spin as soon as the counter rotating tines dug into the soil. To get the tiller to move forward required upward pressure on the handlebar. Needless to say, this quickly became a very tiresome job. The RT75 does not have a counterweight in front like the RT65. I consider this a serious design/operational flaw in the RT75. My solution to the problem was to chain a 45-lb hex dumbbell to the front bumper of the tiller. Now the RT75 operates perfectly with no spinning wheels even at the maximum depth setting. I can walk along side the tiller with just one hand on the bar to guide it. I am sure that other RT75 owners will encounter the same problem. Cub Cadet should make appropriate changes to the RT75 to ensure that the tiller will have enough traction to do the job adequately.
