Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is great! I've had my 2016 challenger 700 since 2016 may and it has 564 miles on it how long do they usually last?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY We purchased a 700 side by side in the summer of 2016. Within the first few hundred miles the engine blew up. Took it in to dealer, dealer confirmed engine gone. Waited 4 months for Cub Cadet to send new engine to dealer, it never came so dealer was good enough to give us an entirely new machine. The new machine kept blowing fuses for the fuel pump, finally fuel pump went out...this machine doesn't even have 100 miles on it. These machines are cheap, and use cheap parts, a person is way better off spending a little bit more and getting a quality machine. I think Cub Cadet should stick to building lawn mowers. I feel like a big sucker for purchasing one of these machines...never again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value Have a challenger 700. With cab incloser and snowplow. Great value for the price. Lots of extras. Incloser is very nice in cold weather. Snow plow is very easy to hookup and heavy duty. Customers service is very helpful

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Buy! I was wanting a UTV to do some work around my property. After a lot of research I concluded the Challenger 700 was the best fit for my needs and budget. Chuck, my CC dealer was kind enough to let me test drive one on his lot. After answering my questions, I decided to make my purchase. (This was late spring) Now I have almost 50 miles on it. I have used it around the property to pull my utility trailer, dead trees, haul brush, dragging with the wench and cool off after yard work. It has handily performed any task I have used it for. It is nimble as a goat, has plenty of power (for it's size) and comfortable to drive. I like the extra features that come standard on the Challenger that other brands charge extra for. (3,500lb wench, lights, turn signals, bed mat, plastic roof, windscreen and my grandkids love the horn) There are a few minor drawbacks but I was already aware when I made my purchase. It gets pretty loud when the engine is under a load. (Pulling/climbing/accelerating) I can tolerated the noise and so has my neighbors. This thing can emit some heat! With the mid-engine being between the seats, after a while of driving it, you can get pretty warm. I have my windscreen out so it doesn't bother me. I am hoping this winter I can feel some of that heat. My wife is about 5' 3" tall and she has to sit forward in the seat to reach the peddles. (The seat does not adjust) Since she only casually drives it, this is not a big deal. I plan to soon get a snow plow to keep my 1/4 driveway clear. With everything else I have done with it, I think it can easily clear it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does all it should, just a few acc suggestions.... Got my Challenger 700 in the fall of 2015, as there's a local dealer and it is priced significantly less than anything else with similar capabilities. I've always owned Yamaha snow machines, HD and Yamaha bikes, etc. so this was a leap from my CC snowblower and riding lawnmower. But, they pulled it off and this UTV has worked flawlessly. Power normalized after about 70 miles and I've been super impressed with its towing and cargo capability. Immediately after purchase I made some important upgrades, though, and they cost so little that it would seem like they could be offered as OEM options. First, two LED cube spotlights as the stock headlights are very weak ($50 including wiring and lights on Amazon). Second, a small battery powered overhead light ($15 Rampage Jeep roll bar mount) in the cab. Third, a muffler (Silent Rider ATV Silencer BT-5A, $200) because this thing is LOUD. The muffler didn't silence it, but it did quiet it down a bit so I wasn't convinced I was doing permanent damage to my hearing without headphones. Bottom line, you cannot find a better value for the money among UTVs, and hopefully MDT brings more and more of the manufacturing to the US and adds some branded/fitted accessories. So far at 300 miles, overall I'm VERY impressed and the Challenger 700 is both useful and fun to drive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is a nice complete package I looked at all the side by sides offered by competitors. This one was the most complete package of them all. The machine runs great. Performs well in trail and around the house use. Could be quieter but noise level on par with other machines tested.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice machine! I am very impressed with the challenger. It is a very good machine for the money. there are a few issues that cub could address. the machine is quite loud, the muffler could use a heat shield because the bed gets very hot,too hot for my dog's feet, and the rear A arms on mine will not take grease-the zerks fall out.But all in all, this is a good product for an old hunter in montana!
