Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, easy to use My husband passed away in March '15. My son got this snowblower for me and it has been reliable and easy to use. I keep it in the lower speed ranges which is a comfortable pace for me and still it clears my large driveway quickly. The push button start is really nice, machine never clogs and clears all type of snow. You can see in the pictures just how far it will throw! I live way out in the country so there are no options here other than to clear your own drive - so thanks Cub Cadet for giving me a solution which allows me to stay in the home I love!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gamechanger in Walk-Behind Capability I have a large U-shaped gravel drive with an additional intersecting short drive leading to a 2-car garage so plenty of corners and turns to deal with plus a great deal of overall distance. We get all types of snow living in a high snowfall area and one of the coldest areas in the U.S. I liked the 3-stage engineering and when I saw the PRO versions were coming available I pre-ordered one. The main reason being machine longevity with the increased rigidity of heavier panels and ball bearing support, this is a unit that can be used and used and then rebuilt if necessary whereas most walk-behinds are throw away. So I've had an opportunity to use this in a bunch of different snow conditions and I'm VERY pleased. Engine starts easy, prime and 1 pull does it. The heated grips work good using a single layer waterproof glove in zero degree weather my hands are fine. The forward speed selections are good, the only knock on this machine is the reverse gears are too slow to be useful, I end up turning a circle instead of backing up; I understand this is a safety issue as they don't want a near 400 lb machine driving a person backward but let your hands off the controls and the machine stops instantly. Has plenty of forward thrust to power through a tall plow-bank, when we had an ice layer under snow it would lose traction for a moment around tighter corners but then catch and go - maybe I will add chains next year but not a big issue. Both lights stay visible even when the wind is shifty and snow is all over. Now for the most important part, how does it move snow? Hands down the best walk behind snowblower that is or has ever been on the market. There isn't a HP rating on the engine but I'm guessing around 15 with good torque being a big single, and that is a good pairing to the 34" clearing width. Just did 10" of what I would call average weight snow and no stress on the engine whatsoever, had to put it up to fastest forward speed to even hear the engine starting to work. In 5mph wind I had to lower the shoot a little as it would throw it into the next section of driveway; the distance is great. Usually the plow-bank area is a war with a walk behind but this machine knifes right through. When I'm done there is almost zero snow built up inside where other machines gum up with wetter snow and end up pushing snow in front - this machine is really efficient every bit of snow traveled over is discharged right away. The larger augers make a big difference in this regard and there is no transfer of heat from the engine to melt snow inside and clog/ice things up. Very good investment, cleaner job than a plow truck, more maneuverable than a 3pt blower.
