Rated 1 out of 5 by from Has Power But This snowblower has plenty of power but. I purchased this snowblower in 2018. I have used it 5 times and every time the shear pins on the front yellow wheel and the main auger where the snow exits the chute the shear pins break. I have used it today after a dry 5" snow fall and same issue the pins keep breaking in the same spots.I'm tempted to put a bolt in these spots. I would not recommend this snowblower for the money and inconvenience after fairly light snowfalls.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Constant breakdown I bought this for this winter of 2018 2019. And the first time I used it all the shear pins on augers sheared. Plus the belt broke. Does not want to work in wet snow as you claim. Not happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT! VERY SATISFIED I bought this a month or so ago from the local Cub Cadet dealer. I got a chance to finally use it yesterday and today to move 14" of snow in the Kansas City area. Its performance and operation was outstanding! I cleared 7 of my neighbors driveways, including the ones that had wimpy snow blowers. One of my neighbors was so impressed, that he bought one. I did a lot of research on other manufactures. The fact that this machine is AMERICAN MADE means a lot to me. The local dealer in Olathe, KS is great to work with and very knowledgeable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very good but not outstanding I got this snowblower in November and have used it in different snow conditions. Delivery and set-up was easy. It does blow snow good distances, although in the wettest, heaviest snow I have seen in Minnesota in many years, it kept clogging as most other snowblowers did. I agree with other reviews I have read that the slowest speed is way too fast. With ice under the snow, the wheels would spin. In those conditions, chains would probably help but I don't see them offered as options. My biggest complaint is that it leaves snow windrows that are much worse than my old 2 stage blower. I don't know if it is caused by the speed or the fact that it is a three stage. It is still a good product, but it's highest rating by Consumer Reports must be due to the quality of the competition. From my standpoint, the jury is still out as to three stage vs 2 stage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from so far so good we own an acreage out in Manitoba Canada, and needed something to clean our yard and driveway. so we have to clean probably about half an acre. I used it on 6 inches of snow and it did a pretty good job. it does not throw the snow 50 feet like i was hoping but close enough. I found it easy to start, and it actually did a good job of blowing the snow. We usually dont have wet snow, more of a colder drier winter so the blower assebly area was actually free of snow. I got it all cleaned in an hour. I got a great deal on a new 2018 blower, and i could not say no to saving $600 from the suggested retail price. I got a great deal and looks like a very good machine so far.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to Believe Consumer Reports Rated It Highly I concur with the other review about the shear pins. I rarely take the machine out without breaking at least one. I am not talking about when they should break, like in ice, slush, or they heavy snow at the end of the driveway the plows push off the road. They break in a couple inches of light snow. Contacted Cub Cadet to see if they had a new pin out and nothing out yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good The machine throws snow a mile. However, the snow chute elevation cables freeze after each use. If it gets warm enough you can thaw them out or just put a heater indet the controls for a while. I've had them replaced with no help. Other than that I can't find anything else bad about the snowblower. Starts great and the 3rd stage just eats through plow piles. It makes me sad that winter will be over in a month and I'll have to put it away for the summer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work in slush or heavy snow This snow blower craps the bed every time it sees slush.Unless it is light fluffy snow this 14 hp snow blower is useless. It sucks that every time I have heavy wet snow, which in New York is more the rule than the exception I have to get my neighbor to run through my driveway with his plow. My neighbor next door with a competitors snowblower eats it up and spits it out no problem.
