How to Replace the Wheel on a Cub Cadet Walk-Behind Mower
These instructions will explain how to replace a wheel on a Cub Cadet walk-behind lawn mower. Depending on your model, the instructions listed below may vary slightly. Always be sure to check your operator's manual for detailed instructions.
Instructions
- Step 1
Make sure the engine is cool. Disconnect the spark plug ignition wire. Put the height adjuster and the highest level.
- Step 2
Using a socket, unbolt the wheel and remove it from the mower.
- Step 3
Lubricate the new wheel's bushings with a dry lubricant like graphite.
- Step 4
Tighten the wheel nut and adjust the height of the wheel to match the other three.
- Step 5
Reconnect the spark plug ignition wire.
